The Sixth Pupil In The Brilliant Batch Trained In The Medical Lore By Atreya Is Ksarapani. He Is Also Said To Have Compiled A Samhita Like Other Co-Student, But This Work Also Has Been Lost To Us, But Its Availability Upto The Time Of Vagbhata Is Inferrable Because Of The Quotations That Are Give By Him. Several Other Medical Authors Have Also Liberally Quoted Him.

The We Find That Galaxy Of Atreya’s Disciples Hed Each One Of Them To His Credit A Great Treatise On Ayurveda Which Has Com Down To Us Only In Fragment (With The Exception Of Agnivesa Samhita And Perhaps Bhela Samhita) Though The Citations Of Other Later Authors. Further Research Scholars May However Delight Us With The Unearthing Of The Works Of The One Or The Other Author And Thus Enrich The Medical Lore.
